We had the pleasure of visiting Gaylord Opryland in Nashville, TN with the beautiful lighting ceremony in November. It truly is #somuchchristmas there when all the Christmas festivities begin. You can see more in real time on my stories highlights at @charlieandcrewmama

We were excited for the opportunity to get to stay for a couple of days and enjoy all the things the resort has to offer. A stay here during November or December will definitely get you in the Christmas spirit! If you are local to Nashville, or can make the visit, it is a memory maker for sure! There are also other locations across the US, so be sure to see which Gaylord Hotel is nearest you and the activities they offer!

So Much Christmas at Gaylord Opryland

Right at the beginning with your arrival, you are greeted with Christmas lights, decor, lush gardens & poinsettia flowers all over the resort. We grabbed some hot chocolates and hot tea and started exploring! The atriums are such an amazing site. With the added touches of multiple Christmas trees, it makes it truly magical and fun.

The Parade of Trees is a must see and supports such a great cause. Multiple country music stars have put together their own designs of trees that are on display for you to see. Benefit of this cause is the First Responders Children’s Foundation. Visit HERE to see more!

Although it was raining outside during most of our stay, we didn’t mind at all with all there is to do inside. We loved doing the Wildlife Rescue – An Augmented Reality Experience presented by bubly™, Christmas Fountain Shows, Gingerbread decorating center, Holiday #selfie spots, Reindeer Games™ Scavenger Hunt Featuring Rudolph and The Misfit Toys and so much more! There are also so many options for dining, shopping, multiple restaurants and holiday themed dining like the Rudolph's Holly Jolly™ Breakfast.

Mission: Save Christmas featuring Elf™

Through January 2, 2022, you can enjoy the unique and fun experience of feeling like you are right alongside Buddy the Elf from the classic Christmas Movie, Elf™ on a journey to save Christmas.

Mission: Save Christmas featuring Elf™ is full of fun and challenging activities you must complete in order to muster up enough Christmas cheer to power the Kringle 3000, Santa’s Sleigh and save Christmas! We love the movie Elf™ and were excited to explore the rooms based off of classic scenes from the movie. From the Candy Cane Forest to a snowball fight in Central Park, NY they make you feel like you are right in the middle of scenes from the movie. Touches like snow flurries falling, fun photo opportunities and a shopping section at the end full of Christmas vibes made it all the more fun.

Pinetop at Gaylord Opryland

Over at Pinetop you will find all things winter fun! There are so many beautiful Christmas lights, live Reindeer Encounters, Ice Skating (lessons available), Ice Tubing, Ice Bumper Cars and Gaylord Opryland's Rockin Christmas on Ice. It was so fun to see the kids' first experience of Ice skating. Head to my stories highlight HERE to see us doing the fun activities at Pinetop.

We have pretty much decided every Christmas needs a visit to Gaylord Opryland. The rooms are beautiful and family friendly. The views from your balcony never disappoint and are so relaxing. All of the Christmas themed activities get you in the Christmas spirit and set the stage for such fun family memories.
