#SpringItOn at Gaylord Palms | A special thank you to Gaylord Palms for sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own. #Hosted #GaylordPalms

This past week we made our way down to Florida with a memory making roadtrip for Charlie’s birthday and to celebrate all things Spring at the #SpringItOn event at Gaylord Palms. We were honored when Gaylord Palms invited us to come experience everything the resort has to offer including their amazing Atrium views, #SpringItOn activities and their Cypress Spring Water Park.

Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center is located in central Florida. You will find it tucked in a lush landscape in Kissimmee, FL just moments away from all things Orlando or Disney World. It only took us a couple of minutes to get to visit the city and the Disney parks. The location could not have been more convenient. The resort in itself is a beauty with a grand and lush front entrance. Behind the convenient parking and gorgeous lobby you will find what feels like a whole other world.

Inside the Resort at its core is a beautiful Atrium filled with fun, waterfalls, lush garden landscapes and animals. It is peaceful and entertaining all at once.

The Atrium is split up into different areas, inspired by Florida. You will see Key West, St. Augustine, Emerald Plaza, and the Everglades all represented in their own unique way. Yes, there is even a restaurant on a boat situated in water called MOOR, inside of the resort! We had the opportunity of staying in the St. Augustine area which gave us the perfect view of the atrium just outside our balcony.

The evening we arrived, we had a special viewing of the Paint Me a Fairytale show. This live action show is colorful and full of story classics like Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and The Beanstalk and The Princess and the Pea.  The kids loved it and still have been talking about it after we left.  After the show, we were invited over to the Art Bar as well as given a sweet surprise of a cookie decorating set & water color paint set for Charlie & Meredith to enjoy.

Before we headed up to our room for the night, we grabbed a coffee from the Coffee Bean shop inside the resort and we headed around the Atrium to see the Eggspression Garden full of huge chocolate treats and oversized Easter eggs. This gave all the feels of Easter & Spring. We also had fun searching the gardens for the adorable bunnies hidden in the Bunny Scavenger Hunt. You get a fun booklet that gives you hints and stickers to keep track of which bunnies you find. Next, we stopped by to see the live alligators & turtles plus the adorable spring decor of oversized lady bugs and butterflies.

In the evenings, the Springtime Light Display gave us the perfect relaxing ending to our day. This display is almost invisible during the day but at night the LED screens light up to bring the atrium alive with spring designs. We loved watching the shapes and finding the bunnies! Having a rescue bunny, it reminded us of our Judy back home.

Mornings were met with an easy decision to head downstairs and have breakfast at Villa De Flora. Located right in the middle of the resort, this restaurant is stunning in style and the food is perfection. You are met with a served to you style buffet and amazing service for your meal.

Once full and ready to take on the day we headed out to a whole other area of the resort… the Cypress Spring Water Park. This park is beautiful in itself with something to offer everyone of all ages. You will find a Springtime Pool Party (weekend days 12pm – 4pm), zero-entry swimming pool, multi-level tree house playground, racing slides, a drop slide, a FlowRider surfing experience, and the thrilling new Crystal River Rapids.

Crystal River Rapids opened recently so we were lucky enough to be some of the first to experience it! This not-so-lazy river is perfect for everyone in the family and was pretty much our favorite we kept going back to all day long. Getting hungry for lunch was easily solved with our poolside food service where they delivered our lunch right to our seats.  They offer premium pool side seating as well as private cabanas if you prefer. Towels and life vest were provided once inside too.

As you can tell, we had an absolute amazing time staying with Gaylord Palms. We are already planning when we can go back and enjoy it again. Memories were made and we were so refreshed and inspired by our stay. Head to my Instagram @charlieandcrewmama to view my story highlight ‘Gaylord Palms’ for more on our stay. Any questions send me a message!

Write to you again soon-

Warmly-

Samantha
