Summer of More at Gaylord Opryland

#summerofmore at Gaylord Opryland | A special thank you to Gaylord Opryland for sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own. #Hosted #GaylordOpryland #Opryland #SoundWavesNashville

This Summer is off to such a fun start! This past week we made our way down to Nashville, Tennessee to visit the grand & beautiful Gaylord Opryland for their Summer of More activities. We were honored when Gaylord Opryland invited us to come experience everything the resort has to offer including unforgettable Atrium views, some amazing food, #summerofmore activities and their premiere aquatic attraction, SoundWaves.

You will find Gaylord Opryland in the heart of Nashville, Tennessee. Conveniently located to shopping, restaurants and all the entertainment Nashville has to offer. Not that you will want to leave anyway with the resort feeling like its own city and having everything you need for your stay right inside.  Once you step through the front doors you’re greeted with equal elegance and comfort. From stunning art and décor to the amazing aroma of the over 15 restaurants inside the resort.

We had an atrium view double Queen room which had more than enough room for 2 adults & 2 kids. You could relax on the balcony in the mornings with a coffee in hand or at night to unwind and listen to the waterfalls or watch the twinkle lights. Like literal magic sprinkled through the resort.

Our first thing we did was head to SoundWaves. Worried about the weather being bad on your stay? No worries. There is an indoor half of the attraction and an outdoor one. So many slides to choose from, multiple play areas, a food court, lazy river and our favorite - Tidal Track Wave Pool. We could have stayed in the waves all day. We loved the grand American Flag flying overhead, rotation of music videos and fun of the waves! Safety is no worries as they provide life vests for those that choose.

Once back inside we walked along the 9 acre atrium gardens and worked on our
Princess’s Shiny Stash Treasure Hunt, part of the Summer of More activities you can participate in during your stay.

Once we grabbed a bite to eat and relaxed in the room for a bit, we headed down to the Delta River Boat Co. for a night ride on the Battle for the Blue Diamond Boat Ride. The kids loved it and got a fun treasure surprise at the end!
